These guys have been bombarding us with great songs for sometime on 'the matrix'. I mean, on internet. That way they have garnered a very good response from trip-hoppers all over the world, on such a way they can't be considered new anymore. Yes, it's sounds such a paradox, a band which isn't 'new' anymore but without any release... Well, that's past. On the way to release their first full album, they have presented us with 'Clouds', a single containing 2 great tracks: Clouds and Time. Both tracks are like champagne for the ears, an ecstasy for the soul. The instrumentation is lush, taking advantage of electronic and acoustic instruments, developing an atmosphere at the same time organic and synthetic. Kaat's vocals are just exuberant, performing the melodies on a way it sounds like they belong to the songs, and not just like if they were mixed together. The result is splendour, just like the image you can see above. I did not insert it into here casually, or just to make an allusion to clouds. That's the way their music sounds to me. Beauty is the word. Unreachable...

(By the way, I'll spill the beans, which will sound interesting to many people, specially for Hooverphonic's fans: Kaat is Hooverphonic's Geike's younger sister...)
